Mark Schipper was born in Greensville and attended Greensville School and Highland. He worked for a while at Flamborough Downs on the wagering side then went to work full time for PNM Electric when he was 18. He became an electrician and is the owner of an electrical company. As a young man he played for the Dundas Blues. He loves fishing and hunting and has been to Ellesmere Island and Nunavik to fish for Arctic Char. He has a polar bears story to tell.
