Lynn Bouvier is a Research Biologist with the Great Lakes Laboratory for Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Fisheries and Oceans Canada. She has a M.Sc. in Marine and Freshwater Biology. Lynn took part in the Rotary Group Exchange to Paraguay and /argentina from May 10 - June 6, 2009.
Lynn took part in the Rotary Group Exchange to Paraguay and /argentina from May 10 - June 6, 2009. The Group Stdy Exchange is open to young professionals between the ages of 25-40 years.
The GSE team members were:
• Susan Thompson - Team Leader, Physiotherapist/Owner of Physio On The Go, member of Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise
• Lynn Bouvier, Research Biologist with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hamilton
• Angela Hintz, Wastewater Project Engineer with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc., sponsored by the Rotary Club of Buffalo
• Jim Schooley, River Control Supervisor with Ontario Power Generation, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls
• Heather Sim, Process Engineer with the Regional Municipality of Niagara, sponsored by the Rotary Club of St. Catharines Sunrise
While in Paraguay and Argentina the team met with local water management professionals to learn about water management practices. They shared ideas, and toured local water facilities. They also learned about Paraguayan and Argentinean culture and visited local Rotary Clubs… all en español!
