Sue and Jim Waddington have been documenting The Group of Seven painting sites by hiking and canoeing to many of them since 1997. Back in 1977 Sue had an idea to locate the unique places that inspired the Group of Seven. They wanted to find where the artists camped and canoed to sketch and paint their art. Sue and Jim began their expeditions in 1997 at Killarney Provincial Park's Nellie Lake. Today's presentation compared the art work to actual photos they took. It was an amazing and interesting presentation.
