President Bruce Eccles Conducts First Meeting

This was the first meeting of the Rotary year and President Bruce Eccles' first duty was to induct Bob Bell into the club and the Family of Rotary. As is the club custom, all members stood, formed a circle and were part of the formal induction ceremony. Once Bob received his Rotary pin, he walked inside the circle and shook hands with each club member.

President Bruce outlined his goals for the year which included support for Polio Plus, outstanding weekly programs, selecting new or enhanced fundraisers and community and international projects that the club can call its own. He stressed that this is a fun-loving club that gets things done and the weekly meetings and various social events provide the fellowship that is the heart of the club.
President Bruce closed by introducing the new board of directors and gave each a board of directors theme pin, Building Communities - Bridging Continents.
