Peter Ormond Speaks to the Club

Peter talked about sustainability and the homogenization of Canada and how Energy = Economy = Environment. He stressed the need for energy conservation (as opposed to building new power generation plants) andindicated that it is much cheaper to reduce demand than to build new ones. It's a problem...for sure...but we didn't get an opportunity to find out whether the problems he was outlining were political, communications/marketing, or technological....maybe we can get him back to delve into this topic.
