Natasha Senaratna was able to complete her first year at Wilfrid Laurier University with a double degree in Business and Financial Mathematics while maintaining a high average, placing her on the Dean's honour roll and guaranteeing her a spot in the co-op program for next summer. With less financial burden she was able to participate in two case competitions helping her team reach 35 out of 200 teams. She also volunteered to help improve first year residence experience. She also does free math tutoring in local elementary and secondary schools. All this while working 10 hours a week at the Dundas Metro store. And on top of that, she coaches youth soccer. For next year she was accepted in Laurier's Women in Leadership club where she will continue volunteering. She thanked the club for having her back today and awarding her with the Ken Turner Memorial Bursary.
