Dr. Pradeep Kumar - Speech Disabilities

Dr. Pradeep Kumar spoke to the club on January 27th and brought a message associated with speech disabilities in India. Dr. Kumar reminded the club that if a problem in India affects 5% of the people (which speech disabilities do), then we are talking about 50 000 000 people!
Dr. Kumar outlined the methods that are being used by a registered trust - Samagara - in the northern part of India, near the city of Dehradun. The program has been supported by volunteers from McMaster University. DG Ralph Montesanto mentioned to Dr. Kumar that he should involve the Rotaract Club at the University in the project.
