Cara Bensimon was born and raised in Toronto. She and her husband Moise, ran Bensimon Design, a home remodelling business. They took a break and spent six months travelling the world with their two sons. The family moved to Greensville and she applied for a part-time job at Hamilton Jewish Family Services as the executive director. This soon became a full-time position. Cara continues the long-time relationship between the club and HJFS.
