Stuart (Sunny) Forsyth, a graduate of the Australian National University spoke about abundantwater.org. Sunny has been conducting in-the-field research for abundantwater.org for the last twelve months. abundantwater.org is an Australian organization committed to developing a system using clay pot filters to provide clean drinking water to ethnic Lao villagers. The organization creates partnerships enabling the villagers to produce and distribute their own filters and to educate in their usage. abundantwater.org is in the final stages of creating a model clay pot filter capable of being reproduced by small communities in developing nations. abundantwater.org received seed funding from Rotary International, technical assistance from Engineers without Borders-Australia, and development assistance in Laos from Seda-Laos.
