Cycling Without Age

Cyling Without Age is already in a number of cities (including Hamilton and Burlington). They work with agencies such as Shalom Village, Chartwell Homes ... and other agencies in these areas.  They have been working to develop partners in Dundas and have established a relationship with AMICA....particularly for storing the trishaws (like a bicyle and a rick-shaw combined). They allow passengers  to "feel the wind in their hair" as they get a ride around our local community.
 
Mike Moulden (a life-long Dundas resident) and Nancy Gray, will be speaking to us on Tuesday about an extension of their program into Dundas. Their mission is to provide opportunities to connect with neighbours and nature by offering free rides to individuals on a custom trishaw to those facing barriers to movement.
